Orbital Securex Integration

This topic describes how to login as brand new SecureX admin user linking AMP and Orbital together. You will need to complete this task and then send invitations to the users in your organization to join the org in Secure.

  1. On the SecureX Login page (URL?) , click “Create a SecureX Sign-On”.
  2. Complete the form with your account information and organization details and click “Register”.
  3. An account email with an activation link is sent to your email address. Click the activation link. The SecureX App portal landing page opens.
  4. Click “SecureX”. The SecureX Create Your Organization page opens.
  5. Complete the form for your organization. Click Save The SecureX Account Activation opens.
  6. Click the Configure button under the AMP for Endpoints module option. The Add New AMP for Endpoints Integration Module form opens. Follow the Quick Start instructions to complete this form. You will need to obtain an API key for an AMP for Endpoints account:
    • Open AMP for Endpoints
    • Sign on with your email address. The AMP for Endpoints license notice opens. Since you don’t have an AMP license in this case, click Request your free trial. An order link is sent to your email address.
    • Click the link to open the Order page.
    • Click Claim Order. The AMP Sign-on page opens again.
    • Login with the same credentials you used before. The AMP for Endpoints Subscription Agreement form opens.
    • Click in the box to accept the terms of the agreement, and click Continue. The AMP for Endpoints dashboard opens.
    • Now that you’ve successfully logged into AMP with a SecureX account, you need to create a new set of API credentials. Click the Accounts menu and choose API Credentials. The New API Credential popup opens.
    • Complete the modal and click Create to create the credentials in AMP.
  7. Return to the SecureX Add New AMP for Endpoints Integration Module and complete the form with the API Key from the AMP account.
  8. Click Save. SecureX acknowledges that the AMP for Endpoints Module has been configured.
  9. Open Orbital (https://orbital.amp.cisco.com), and click the SecureX Sign On button. You will be redirected to an organization linking page, and prompted to link your AMP organization.
  10. Click Link organization. A confirmation popup opens.
  11. Click Link to confirm that you want to link. The link is confirmed.
  12. Now you should be able to deploy AMP endpoints using the AMP for Endpoints Console, install Orbital on the endpoint and query using Orbital
